Anazawa, a third-year doctoral student in our laboratory, Professor Koya Yamashiro, and colleagues investigated how sex differences influence the processing of auditory and tactile stimuli. The findings suggest that the effects of sex, particularly female hormones, may differ between auditory and somatosensory processing.
The findings were published in the international journal Women’s Health Reports (IF = 1.8) on March 11, 2026!
