Research by Ochi Seminar Alumna Sato and Colleagues Published in the European Journal of Applied Physiology

A research group including 佐藤茉由 and 佐々木美悠 (both Academic Year 2023 graduates), Lecturer Genta Ochi, and Associate Professor Shima of Gunma University’s Cooperative Faculty of Education demonstrated that stress hormones in hair can provide a noninvasive physiological assessment of the physical load associated with long-term athletic training, which had previously been assessed subjectively.

The study builds on Sato and Sasaki’s undergraduate graduation research.
